      Work Immersion Send- off Ceremony symbolizes that we, Senior High School students, the apprentices, were ready and well- prepared to work for our chosen job. During the ceremony, there was a recognition of students by strands and candle lighting that indicates to light our way towards our journey to discovering ourselves. As a Senior High School student, I experienced a lot of changes especially in academics, facilities, etc. Additionally, every Senior High students knew that the implementation of another two- year in high school has so many flaws. SIMBALAY FESTIVAL: A BOUNTIFUL HARVEST

              December is a month where lights are sparkling along the streets, where lanterns are hanging outside in every window, where people were captivated by the thoughts of Christmas. Simbalay Festival also happens to be in December; it is celebrated every year to express gratitude for the bountiful harvest. People of Nabunturan celebrate Simbalay Festival by building up ‘bahay kubos’ filled with the fruitful harvest from their own barangays. As I was strolling in the street- where they displayed all the bahay kubos- I was amazed at how Nabunturanons celebrate and value the culture and tradition of Nabunturan.
