Entrepreneurial Mind: 2nd Week of Discussion
What
we have discussed in this week is about the Design and Elevate, the 4-Step
Process, and Evaluation of Product (The Interview).
This
week’s activity made me realized how entrepreneurs deal with the point of pain
and how they innovate their products to meet the need of their customers. One
of the activities we’ve performed is the Tower-Making Marshmallow. Suppose that
the marshmallow is your customer and the pasta is your product. What we had
been thinking at that moment is to build our foundation first, to concentrate
on perfecting our product which is the pasta while we keep on neglecting our
costumer, the marshmallow. All along the process, since we keep our eyes on the
pasta, we thought we built a strong foundation that is enough to hold our
marshmallow, but we did not. It couldn’t stand alone. It’s frail. However, what
we have learned is, we must first give our attention to our customer, focus on
their needs, and garnering information through listening to their suggestions.
Interviewing
people and presenting your product to your target costumers is not a joke.
There some instances will hear constructive criticisms and negativity. But we
have developed during the interview portion is to be open-minded and to treat
ourselves as a beginner so that we could handle any feedback. Furthermore, I
think having these characteristics helped us to gain more information we need
without being partial.
Ideas before becoming a reality now.
We’re living in a world that has been filled by ideas and concepts which fuels
the scientists and investors to make it visible. But without humility,
idealism, and patience, we couldn’t obtain what we have right now.
